Description
Signed by Kerascoet on their first West Coast public appearance! We hosted Kerascoet at our booth at LightBox Expo October 25-27, 2024 and they signed a limited number of books for us before returning to France.
This children’s picture book features lush watercolor illustrations by Kerascot.
From the publisher:
“I don’t care about being made of paper, I want to be like the others! I want to jump over the wood fire without blackening my feet!”
Rejected by the children in his neighborhood because of his singularity, the paper boy is fragile: in a world of strong people, he bends, crumples in the face of mockery. As he runs away from what oppresses him, he discovers his true strength, that of imagination, and the courage to be himself.
Kerascot lives and works in Paris in the worlds of cartooning and illustration.
