Description
The great comics editor and cartoonist George Olsen brings us this fascinating new anthology, with art cartoonists taking on the idea of making ‘kids’ comics.
The results are beautiful, and this anthology (clocking in at over 80 pages) excels beyond its conceit. Beautiful entries by James Collier, Tana Oshima, Minnie Slocum, Owwi Lee and many many more making stories for young readers that don’t pander, but instead respect the viewer with imaginative and poetic art, which should be a requirement (rather than an exception) for ‘young adult’ comics.
